Welcome to msdarcyonline.com where humanitarianism and politics meet food and culture.  I am a one woman show that has decided to create a little niche on the Internet, which I can call my own.  My blog aims to inspire people by showing the positive side of humanity through my writing about the many people who help our planet today, and throughout the years, have been making a positive impact on our modern world.  I will also promote the well-being of animals and our environment, which has always been my biggest passion.

My goal is to inspire people to take action so that our planet becomes a fairer and more equal place for everyone who lives on it.  No small task, you may say, but I believe that if we all help others unselfishly, we will have a more egalitarian society.  The people I write about on my blog are doing just this, and they can inspire us in different ways.

In the “real world” I work as an ESL Instructor. I have lived in Spain, and currently I am based in Los Angeles, CA.  I was born in the U.S., and I also lived in South Africa as a child.  Culturally, I have a European Spanish and Italian background, so I will share little bits of Spanish and Italian culture, food and wine, which I think, might interest my readers.
